What is DyKnow? A tool for teachers to easily supervise and control scholar's Chromebooks in order to keep the classroom focused on learning.
- Monitor your scholar's learning from 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Monitor each block from start to end.
- Is only loaded in Google Chrome on our Chromebooks. The extension has already been added to Google Chrome on every Chromebook. There is nothing that you have to do to make it available to scholars.
- Is used with CMS devices ONLY on our district's network. Does not work with scholar-owned devices. Is not used on desktops. Is being used currently in all secondary schools.
- 24/7 support at support.dyknow.com

- HOW TO:
- View Analytics - DyKnow Cloud automatically tracks each website visited and application used by students.
- View Activity Tracker - Activity Tracker begins collecting data from each student's device once teachers start class. Activity Tracker continues to collect data until teachers end the session. It shows the precise website or application each student is viewing & is a great place for teachers to check how students are spending their time.
- Send a message & block devices - See YouTube video below.
- Create a blocking plan. DyKnow Cloud allows teachers to block or allow URLs or Apps on student devices. Blocking plans provide fantastic flexibility for teachers who set different expectations about on and off task behavior by class, by student, and by day.
- Enforcing a block plan - Allow Only Plans: Select the apps and/or URLs you WANT to allow your students to go to. All other programs and websites will be blocked except those you designate.
- Create questions before or during a session.
- Refresh a scholar's thumbnail view.
